So, last week, I shared regarding the delicious holiday treats that can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the period. You understand … like my favored … the Red Velour Whoopie Pie. Well, this past weekend, I was in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (probably grabbing a couple of whoopie pies to come house with me) and also I chose to get hold of lunch at Baseline Faucet House. (Because if you also know me, after that you know just how much I like a good charcuterie board! Which, naturally, Standard has!)

So, while I was considering the menu, I saw this little teeny indication that indicated that Baseline was dishing out a holiday treat, in the form of a Whisky Apple Creme Brulee.

This was not one of the deals with that had actually been spoken about anywhere that I had actually seen, so I was fascinated. What makes my intrigue so perplexing is I don’t particularly like alcohol, and whisky is not my recognized drink of choice, if I do take part.
Yet crème brulee is my weak point, being my favored treat overall, and also an apple variation sounded divine. So, I believed … what the heck! Allow’s provide it a shot!

While it was a little dessert for the rate, I kind of provided it a pass, because, well it was crème brulee..
First thing I saw was how best the caramelization got on top. Frequently it can be excessive or not enough … this looked practically right. So, I dove my spoon right in and also obtained a hefty aiding of the reward..
Let me tell you. Oh my gosh. This treat did not disappoint. There was the fantastic vanilla taste of the crème brulee. After that below were the cinnamon apple items. All of it was highlighted with the taste of whisky, which was not overpowering. As someone who is delicate to alcoholic flavors though, I absolutely tasted it..
Honestly, this was a definite win and I would like to be able to make this in the house. Cinnamon apple crème brulee is currently right up there as one of my preferred ways to make this dish. Now to identify an excellent recipe! If only Disney would certainly share theirs!.
